Tuesday: Orchid Auction

The Southwest Florida Orchid Society is hosting an auction and fundraiser at Faith United Methodist Church on McGregor Boulevard in Fort Myers. The auction starts at 7 p.m. All are welcome. Members also donate other plants, including bromeliads and ferns.

Wednesday: Show Support

If you want to see the Florida Everblades this regular season, better act quickly. The team’s last remaining games at Germain Arena are today, Friday and Saturday. Give the Blades a little love as they fight to make the playoffs.

Friday: Golden Apple

The Foundation for Lee County Schools will celebrate the 27th Annual Golden Apple Teacher Recognition at 5:30 p.m. at Harborside Event Center. The event will honor six Lee County teachers who represent dedication and excellence in teaching.
